FarmRaise - The first fully integrated one-stop shop for farm funding, informed by and built for farmers. Just enter your farm details and see what grants and support are available for your farm. Mostly focuses on government support.
Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) - NRCS provides a variety of grants. Through these programs the agency approves contracts to provide financial assistance to help plan and implement conservation practices that address natural resource concerns or opportunities to help save energy, improve soil, water, plant, air, animal and related resources on agricultural lands and non-industrial private forest land. The best way to get started is to reach out to your local department to see what you qualify for.
Steward Loans - Steward is a platform that provides loans in various sizes to Regenerative Farms. This company works to make sure farmers have great plans that they will be able to repay and achieve their regen farm’s growth plan. Learn more about borrowing or lending here.
The Fruit Guys Community Fund - Provide small grants (up to $5,000) to small farms and agricultural nonprofits for sustainability projects that have large impacts on the environment, local food systems, and farm diversity. Grants typically open in November.
National Young Farmers Coalition - In 2020 The National Young Farmers Coalition (Young Farmers) launched a new grant program to help young and beginning farmers and ranchers start up and grow their businesses. The program provided 50 farmers and ranchers with $5,000 grants in the spring of 2020. Grants typically open in November.
Food Animal Concerns Trust - FACT awards competitive grants of up to $2,500 to working, independent family farmers located in the U.S. who raise beef cattle, bison, broiler chickens, dairy cows, goats, laying hens, pigs, sheep and/or turkeys. Applications typically open in Oct and close in Dec.
